Combating Advanced Baldness
For patients with extensive baldness, hope for covering the entire non-bald area exists. By combining scalp donor hair with hair obtained from other areas of the body, such as the underside of the beard or the chest, a procedure known as Body Hair Transplants (or BHT) we may be able to provide great coverage.
The BHT Method
For the BHT method, we harvest the hair follicles with the FUE technique using a small needle-like instrument used to core out the donor follicles leaving tiny “dot-like” scars. BHT can be utilized for advanced baldness cases, as mentioned above, and also for beard, mustache, and eyebrow restoration.
