My name is Om and I recently completed a hair transplant in your office in December 2015. I am writing to tell you how happy and impressed I was with your practice, the office staff, and procedure. When I met with you in July you were friendly and informative, and in December, you took great care to explain the procedure to me and I felt comfortable at all stages. In comparison to my first hair transplant procedure at a different practice, the experience was in a different universe ā this office showed compassion, care, and skill like I have not seen. In addition, your staff, including Rosa and another gentleman were always interested in my well-being and took great care of me. I recently had a strip procedure done at Hair Transplant Institute Miami and have to say it was an absolute exceptional level of service and professionalism from the top down. The entire team made me feel completely comfortable about moving forward and during a strip procedure that can seem like a stressful and sometimes questionable process. Dr. Nusbaum is a very honest professional who gives you a complete analytical breakdown. I love the Doctors and everyone that works in this office! They spend time to get to know you and really care to make sure that you are comfortable with the plan and also during the procedure and recovery. I'm extremely happy with the results! I would HIGHLY recommend going to meet with the doctors if you are thinking of having a procedure done. After a long time researching I found this place on instagram. When I went to my consult without a doubt I left my deposit right away. Everyone there was super nice and informative.

Prior to my decision, I did my researched for several years 10 or more regarding the art and science of hair restoration. I am 62 years old and tried everything, minoxidil, finestride, Exosomes, supplements etcā¦ those treatments definitely had value to some extent. . However the problem was they would never help me regain my hairline or density in a meaningful way, especially where it matters most. Sunlight, wind, and water were not my friends, and my level of frustration finally made me make the move. I had many options from, LA, Dallas, NY, Atlanta and more. I found Dr Nusbaum online and everything seemed to fit my level of expectation and anticipated result. The process was incredible. From the first impresssion, staff, consultation and no pressure at all process. All my questions were answered. I decided to schedule and move forward. I was amazed at the procedure, I was comfortable, no pain or complications. It was a 10 out of 10. I also feared the interim results period of coping from the procedure date to when I could go out in public. It was exactly as they said it would be. I am now 6 months post and I am blown away. Literally blown away. My only regret is why did I wait so long. That is probably the common response. If you are thinking about hair restoration, frustrated, down and even emotional about your hair loss and are on the fence, do yourself, your spouse and family a huge favor and make the move. Recently I underwent a 3100 graft transplant with Dr. Nusbaum and frankly I could not be happier. From the moment you arrive @ MHI, you realize how specialized and focused each person working at this facility is on their particular task. The consult the day prior to the surgery gave me tremendous confidence with the design I envisioned and off we went. The day of surgery flew by, with Dr. Nusbaum and his team meticulously taking their time on each graft & this showed in the end result - with my goals of having a fuller and most importantly natural looking hairline met. One of my anxieties (having flown in from out of town) was traveling back (though wearing a hat was an option) but after leaving Miami 3 days later it was not even needed. The techniques they employ to trim the grafts and transplant back into the recipient area leave virtually no trace of the surgery and after 2 weeks, where I currently stand now, I did not face any of the scabbing so often seen during the healing process. It was done very clean, and you won't see this kind of work show up in too many clinics (I researched many!!). I would encourage anyone thinking about this procedure to not hesitate with Dr. Nusbaum and his team.

Exceptional Experience at Miami Hair Institute with Dr. Timothy WuI was initially hesitant about undergoing a hair transplant, but choosing Miami Hair Instituteāand especially Dr. Timothy Wuāturned out to be one of the best decisions I've made. After extensive research, including considering options abroad like Turkey, I ultimately decided to invest in the expertise and security of a trusted professional close to home. While the cost was higher compared to overseas clinics, the peace of mind knowing that Dr. Wu would be available for any follow-up care made it completely worth it.The procedure itself was well-organized, starting at 7 AM and lasting until the evening. The initial anesthesia injections were briefly painful, but once it took effect, the extraction process was smooth. After a lunch break, the implantation began, with another round of anesthesia. Throughout the procedure, Dr. Wu consistently checked in, ensuring everything was going as planned, and his attention to detail was apparent. I was relieved to find that my head didnāt swell up as I had seen in some online photos, which was a pleasant surprise.Additionally, I opted for PRP treatment, which significantly helped with healing. The Pablo Picasso of hair transplant. Absolutely phenomenal. I did the strip procedure, Yokasty and Karen take you in early in the morning, they take your vitals make you feel very comfortable, you select what you want for lunch and a smoothie from one of the menus that they have (the wrap I selected was spectacular). They take a lot of photos.
After that they clean up your head and start marking the areas that they are going to work on, once that's done you lay face down on what looks like a combo of dental chair/massage table, then the fun begins. They tape the part of your head/hair in the back that they cut out then numb it little by little until you can't feel anything. Once they make sure that you don't feel a thing, they cut out a strip of hair, then they stitch you up. 100% Painless
A team of about 4 technicians start selecting out your follicles one by one and get a count, I did 2500 grafts for temples and center. Then Dr Nusbaum (Picasso) in my case, starts poking tiny holes where the follicles will be implanted. Once that's done, two of his technitians (I had Denis and another pleasant lady can't remember her name) they work on your areas meticulously. You have the dr check in frequently to make sure the work is being done correctly. I went in at 7am and by 5 pm I was out the door.
They send you home with your medicine. Oxycodone (which I did not take, I was able to get by with Tylenol only) some antibiotics, another pill to prevents swelling, Ambien for sleep (did not need that) and something else for nausea (did not use it either), all in all Tylenol, antibiotic pill and anti swell was all I took.
Next day you return, Maria (amazing young lady) shows you how to wash your hair, they give you the products to take home the day of the procedure. (A "care package" cost $200+) and also two weeks before your procedure you need to do lab work ($150).
When you go in for consultation you'll likely speak with Cecilia, (very sweet young lady )she'll answer any questions you might have. Make sure you are aware that they can do both procedures one without shaving the back of your head and the other one does need a shaving down to 0, for your sides and back only, you do not need to cut any on top.
So far so good, I will update as necessary.

By far the best experience you can possibly have. First off, Dr.Nusbaum and his team are excellent and thereās a reason as to why heās the best. He was very honest with me in what I needed which surprised me as I thought Iād need more grafts than what he recommended (1100). The morning of my procedure the team welcomed me and were extremely comforting, Dr.N assured me Iād feel minimal to no pain and to my surprise there was 0 pain. I actually fell asleep at one point which was great. The procedure lasted around 5-6 hours, and I was comfortable the whole time. After the procedure I was given simple instructions to follow and within a few days it looked like there was absolutely nothing done to me which was convenient as I am always on meetings for work. Fast forward 12 months, and the results are awesome, my hairline is back to what it was years prior and itās gotten so easy to style it everyday. I used to stress out about my temples, and how difficult it was to get my hair looking like I wanted. That hasnāt been a thought in a year.
Dr.N is great, and so is his team ( huge shout out to Maria for always being available to answer my questions this last year). Last June 2023 I had a hair transplant procedure at Miami Hair Institute and I feel blessed I found them. After a lot of research I chose them specifically because on a review I read, where the reviewer talked about the sincerity of the Dr not offering miracles but sound alternatives of what he could do, not trying to sell more than what truly could be done. When I met with Dr Aron Nusbaum, thatās exactly what I got, a very clear picture of the outcome I could expect and if I could be happy with that, then good, if not, then he recommended not go forward. I got an FUE transplant with Dr. Aron Nusbaum 1 year ago and I am very pleased with my decision to get it done at Miami Hair Institute.
I started a nationwide search for the best hair transplant docs in the country back in July 2022. As a healthcare provider myself, I was very picky with what I was looking for in a doctor. I wanted an evidence based approach to my hair transplant that produced excellent results, from a doctor who has a strong moral compass. My extensive research led me to Dr. Aron Nusbaum.
One thing that I admired about Dr. Nusbaum was that he only does about 2 surgeries per day, as compared to other places that do many surgeries in one day. I wanted a doc that would give as much attention to my procedure as possible. I also liked that he didn't charge a consult fee. I was able to go meet him and talk to him about my concerns and he listened without worrying about whether I would agree to a transplant or not. His staff is also extremely friendly and makes you feel like a million bucks every time you walk in the door. They didn't push me to do anything that would be considered hero medicine. Many people want someone who promises them the world, only to find out after the fact that they can't give them the world based on their circumstances. Dr. Nusbaum was honest with me. He said I was a good candidate for a transplant but that we would need to stay conservative to save grafts for possible future transplants as the hair loss continues in my crown and mid section. He didn't want to bring my hairline down too low so we could use as many grafts as possible to really fill in my frontal area and make it look nice. He also knew I was not a candidate for oral Finasteride use based on the negative side effects I had while on it, so we needed to be strategic with how we approach the grafting so we have options for the future.

Everything is perfectly clean, not a computer screen, stapler, or paper out of place. They brought me back at 730 and started prepping me for the day. Between the oral sedatives, nitrous oxide, and local anesthesia, the day flew by. I was out of it for what felt like a few minutes of harvesting with the ARTAS and when I asked what time it was, they said it had already been 3 hours! The rest of the day proceeded similarly. I took a lunch break at 2pm to eat a wonderful lunch they provided from a local restaurant - but outside this, it felt like the day started and ended within about 2 hrs! I was there at 730 and didn't leave until 530pm. Total procedure time was 9 hrs but it felt much quicker. The following morning I went back for a quick post op. They washed my head, and Dr. Nusbaum gave me some final info and recommendations. I had virtually no post-operative pain in the days and weeks following the surgery.
A year has now gone by and I am amazed by my results. My hairline looks so natural that no one would ever know I had a procedure done. My story is a little different. See, I do not have a family history of hair loss. My hair loss was due to a previous surgery that left a scar in my hairline. This review is about six months overdue. I received a hair transplant from Dr. Nusbaum and his team in July 2021 to correct traction alopecia around my hairline. I have coarse, 4c hair. I had hesitated for several years on getting the procedure done mostly because of mixed reviews when it came to African American hair.
I finally took a chance, did my research, and was lead to Dr. Nusbaum and the Miami Hair Institute. I was initially intimidated by the upscale neighborhood and high-end aesthetics of the facility. I work in education and on a very modest budget so I was afraid the procedure would be well out of my price range. Not so.
Dr. Nusbaum and his staff were kind and welcoming. So kind that there was a mix-up in scheduling which I didn't think was a big deal but they added a free service for the 'inconvenience'. They told me everything I needed to know about the procedure and price. There were no surprises or hidden fees. The cost was within my budget.
The procedure is long, the equivalent of a full work day but they keep you comfortable and fed. The worst is the first few days post surgery as you aren't able to sleep on the implants and have to adjust your normal sleep position. I was discouraged after three months when I didn't see any progress.
At six months, people were complimenting me on my skin and appearance not realizing it was actually my new hairline that was the difference. I took for granted how my balding edges had aged me and negatively impacted my features.

My story is a little different. See, I do not have a family history of hair loss. My hair loss was due to a previous surgery that left a scar in my hairline. After a year of healing, my hair had not grown back near the incision site. As silly as it may seem, I was emotionally distraught. I couldnāt even pull back my hair with out being self-conscious. It was an extremely difficult time in my life emotionally.

While I have a proclivity for avoiding high prices, I think when youāre talking about your health and potential dangers when youāre working so close to the brain, it is worth it to get the very best even if itās not cheap. Their hair restoration abilities, completely change my appearance, and therefore, my overall demeanor tremendously the terrifically. Before I get into the details, let me start by saying the results are AMAZING! I had my procedure 6 months ago to fill in my hairline and I am sure, just like everyone else, I was scared, researched a ton of doctors, and did not know if the results would look natural. Let me say, If the results were final today, at the 6 month mark, I would be thrilled. I still have 6-7 months left for final results, which means anything extra is just a bonus. I started a nationwide search for the best hair transplant docs in the country back in July 2022. As a healthcare provider myself, I was very picky with what I was looking for in a doctor. I wanted an evidence based approach to my hair transplant that produced excellent results, from a doctor who has a strong moral compass. My extensive research led me to Dr. Aron Nusbaum.
One thing that I admired about Dr. Nusbaum was that he only does about 2 surgeries per day, as compared to other places that do many surgeries in one day. I wanted a doc that would give as much attention to my procedure as possible. I also liked that he didn't charge a consult fee. I was able to go meet him and talk to him about my concerns and he listened without worrying about whether I would agree to a transplant or not. His staff is also extremely friendly and makes you feel like a million bucks every time you walk in the door. They didn't push me to do anything that would be considered hero medicine. Many people want someone who promises them the world, only to find out after the fact that they can't give them the world based on their circumstances. Dr. Nusbaum was honest with me. He said I was a good candidate for a transplant but that we would need to stay conservative to save grafts for possible future transplants as the hair loss continues in my crown and mid section. He didn't want to bring my hairline down too low so we could use as many grafts as possible to really fill in my frontal area and make it look nice. I was out of it for what felt like a few minutes of harvesting with the ARTAS and when I asked what time it was, they said it had already been 3 hours! The rest of the day proceeded similarly. I took a lunch break at 2pm to eat a wonderful lunch they provided from a local restaurant - but outside this, it felt like the day started and ended within about 2 hrs! I was there at 730 and didn't leave until 530pm. Total procedure time was 9 hrs but it felt much quicker. The following morning I went back for a quick post op. They washed my head, and Dr. Nusbaum gave me some final info and recommendations. I had virtually no post-operative pain in the days and weeks following the surgery.

Last June 2023 I had a hair transplant procedure at Miami Hair Institute and I feel blessed I found them. After a lot of research I chose them specifically because on a review I read, where the reviewer talked about the sincerity of the Dr not offering miracles but sound alternatives of what he could do, not trying to sell more than what truly could be done. When I met with Dr Aron Nusbaum, thatās exactly what I got, a very clear picture of the outcome I could expect and if I could be happy with that, then good, if not, then he recommended not go forward. He was being conservative about what he offered, since I got better results and faster than I expected based on his comments and detailed explanations, I know that wonāt always be the case, but I rather have low expectations and have a great result than having great expectations and have mediocre results.

Then thereās Dr Nusbaum, I always wondered why Drs would get into cosmetics but having him work on my was watching a master artist delivering a love filled masterpiece. A maestro indeed and a loving, caring one at that!
Then thereās the team, they work so well together, like a Swiss watch, it became evident to me that I was in the right place and these people were incredible at their task. They are such a highly functioning team and Iāve consulted with 100s of companies and have rarely seen that level of focus and precision.
Then Maria counseled me and was always available post procedure, with care and excellence and the love of a mother. I texted her at 7pm and I get an instantaneous call. I am doing a disservice by not mentioning every person I interacted with there that treated me perfectly. So many amazing people. Mind you Iām 4 days out and I just have a tremendous sense of gratitude that I put my trust in these wonderful people and they delivered beyond my wildest expectations in terms of care. I know the feeling, hair loss sucks. If youāve been struggling with what to do, call Cecilia and go see the Dr. You owe it to yourself to at least ask the question from the best in the business. I would say thank you but that would be cheap. I will say I love you Miami Hair Institute.

Dr. Aron Nusbaum and his entire staff treated me as if I was royalty. They were very delicate, kind and treated me with compassion the entire time of my procedure.

Dr Aron is amazing. I went to him 3 years ago for a very small procedure. He told me i didnāt need it, but I begged and he delivered on the results even though it was small. thank you for making me feel confident again- I couldnāt thank you enough.

I wanted to wait until the 6 month mark before writing my review to make sure the results of my transplant were as great as the experience of the surgery itself. Needless to say, Dr Wu and his team exceeded my expectations and I am so grateful that I found such a humble and talented surgeon. The follow up care I received after my surgery has been incredible. From the consultation, I felt very comfortable knowing that I was in the best hands. The most satisfying part of it all is I got my confidence back because while my hair looks full again, you would never suspect I had a transplant.

Absolutely incredible. Dr. Nusbaum is an artist. Thatās the best way to describe it. Being in the medical industry it is very rare to find a doctor who is so personable and caring about the difficult, and often emotional, stress that comes from Hairloss. And then on top of thatā to be an incredible surgeon?
Under promise and over delivery is another way to describe my experience. They told me that the full effect wouldnāt come until about 12 months later , but only 4-5 months after my surgery and the results are incredible.
No doubt, one of the best investments have made in myselfāever.
I also need to acknowledge the entire staffāMaria, Cecilia but also the rest of the technicians (who are also excellent craftswomen) who go above and beyond to make the experience seamless, comfortable, and accommodating. Also, always available to answer any questions during the recovery period and there to support you to ensure you get nothing but outstanding results.
